1) General Information
The sessions will occur from 9 am to 7 pm. Everyday day there are two Plenary Sessions and several parallel sessions with a duration of 90 minutes each. At the beginning of each parallel session there will be a brief introduction (pitch) by a high school student.

The detailed program includes the indication of the day, time and room of each session.

2) Speakers
Presentations in audio-visual media (PowerPoint or PDF) must be delivered at least 1 hour before the session in the "slide desk" room (see map). They should also sign a statement on whether they agree to make the presentations available online after the meeting. We remind you that communications must necessarily be brief and adapted to a diverse audience. Except for guest speakers, presentations should take a maximum of 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of questions. The official languages of the meeting are Portuguese and English.

3) Moderators
The Moderator is the person who makes sure that the session begins and ends on time, that there are questions for each speaker and reminds the participants of the hashtag of the event on Twitter (#ciencia2019pt. Except for Invited Speakers, presentations should take a maximum of 10 minutes. To control the time, the Moderators will have yellow cards to indicate that speakers have 4 minutes to finish, and reds for immediate conclusion.

It should be noted that at the beginning of each parallel session there will be a brief presentation (pitch) related to the topic of the session by a high school student.

4) Location of the presentation
The day, time and room of each session and presentation is in the Program (published online). The map of the Congress Center with its rooms is presented online. Each room is equipped with PCs and microphones, plus water for speakers and Moderator.

5) Posters
The posters will be displayed throughout the three days of the event, on tactile screens located in Hall 4 (Pavilhão 4). They are searchable by the name of the author, institution or by scientific area. Researchers will be able to present their poster at any time by simply searching the screen and presenting it to visitors in an informal way. It is not imperative that the first/main author to be present in the three days, but for the purpose of participation it is required the presence of at least one of its authors on one of the days of the event.

6) Registration
Participation on Ciência 2019 is free, but registration is mandatory and must be done here. Each participant will receive by mail their badge, which should be printed and brought on the days of the meeting. Presenting this document will prevent extended waiting times upon entry.

7) Online presence (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram)
Ciência 2019 is present in various social networks: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. All participants are requested to use the hashtag #ciencia2019pt
