Science 2025 - Save the Date

We are thrilled to announce that Ciência 2025 has a date. This year, Portugal's largest science and technology meeting will take place from July 9 to 11 at the NOVA SBE Campus in Carcavelos and its theme is "Science, Innovation and Society".

It will be a floor for promoting and discussing the scientific, social, cultural and economic impact of research in Portugal, exploring and sharing common aspects of science, innovation and society, to inspire new ideas and foster transformative collaborations.

Organized by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia and the National Agency for Scientific Culture CIÊNCIA VIVA, in close collaboration with NOVA University Lisbon and institutional support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the event has a diverse schedule, including more than 50 sessions and around 200 speakers. It aims to reflect the best in science, technology, and innovation in Portugal and internationally, and more than 2,000 participants are expected.

In 2025, the guest will be the European Commission, with the presence of high-level representatives in the area of Science and Innovation.

The Science and Technology and Inovation Exhibition, will take place in a vast area, and be attended by various entities from the science and innovation ecosystem. The event will also feature an area for the presentation of scientific e-posters submitted by PhD students from all over the country.
